The XENYX 502 has 5 inputs and main mix, stereo CD/tape plus separate headphone outputs. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The new XENYX Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps. Neo-classic British EQ brings back the warmth and musicality of those '60s and '70s mega-console desks that made music history.
Review :Feature:
Support for broadcast wave would be awsome. (bouncing projects longer than 2 or 3 hours).Cause FST and recording for more than 90 minutes is what the DM24 set it apart from de tascam MX2424 and the Mackie recorders
Quality:
It's nicely build but, well, its more sturdy than ordinary computerstuff but not so awsome build as the HD24 wich gets a 10.
Value:
Its something you need beside a HD24 when recording live
Desirability:
Its just gear I need.
Sound:
The Fireport is a great piece of hardware. But be aware. It doesn't use broadcast wave. And however the HD24 can record for hours and hours, don't make sessions longer than 1,5 hours or its impossible to bounce using this fireport. For the rest? it simply works on a PC, and that's a whole lot.
Support:
One broke down, I bought another one, and however they wanted to replace it, they ran out of stock so I got my mony back. Thanks that I allready bought me one.
Overall:
It now has support for the mac, That's cool. When they have support for broadcast wave I'll go through the roof.

Behringer Xenyx 502 Mixer Stereo Mixers Behringer Recording 1 6 Feature: Very compact and light..no accessories included. Quality: It does feel solid. Nice to plug in with the pre-amp, the mic, effects, guitar, drum machine and control it all though the mixer. Great tone though the headphones.. Value: Bargain really.. Desirability: Looks like the real deal only smaller. If I order one again I'd get the the 08 instead of the 05. Sound: HA! I just got this today..can't remember having this much fun and improving my set up for only 45 bucks... Ease of Use: Don't count on the owners manual to figure it out; it's poorly written. No helpful diagrams, nothing..Oh and a bit of a surprise, no on/off switch, have to manually unplug it.. Support: Ummmmm..checked the website for helpful hints on how to hook up everthing; what is the function of the "main" ect. And nothing.. Overall: At this point I'm very satsified with the sound quality and the functions. Review this product |

Yamaha Mg124cx Stereo Mixer With Effects Stereo Mixers Yamaha Recording Review :Feature: I've had absolutely NO problems what-so-ever. I do my own set-ups and lowered the action when I received this one. I'd still like it a tich lower, but the Wizard II neck makes up for the fraction of an inch I lose in height. It's a VERY fast neck! (Note: I like my actions very-very low). Quality: Made great! No blemishes, no buzzes, no chips, no fusses, no hanging chads! Value: This is all about perspective, and I own and have played much more expensive guitars....this Ibanez holds its own. I'm not a guitar snob that believes cost is the dominant factor in a good guitar...being a good guitar is the thing that makes it a good guitar (pretty simple, eh?!) Desirability: Beautiful! Sound: I've been playing 29 years and I have a 20+ year-old Westone (British distributed now) and a Les Paul Standard, and this Ibanez holds its own in the "shred" department. I personally like the sound of the pickups and don't plan on changing them out (excluding the single coil, but I'm not a single coil guy). The sound can be very clean, but "dirty" up easily (Iron Maiden-style, not System of a Down). I've had this guitar for half-a-year now and I like it more every day. NO problems what-so-ever. Support: Haven't needed it...now THAT'S great support. Overall: Holds its own against anything I've seen or played in much higher price ranges. Mackie U420 4-channel Firewire Mixer Stereo Mixers Mackie Recording Review :Feature: The included sampler, cd-r/rw, and drum machine are very convenient, especially for creating hiphop beats. Virtual tracks are great for multiple takes. There are more effects than anyone can use on this recorder, but having them included in the system eliminates the need to bulk up on my set-up. Quality: Overall sturdy build; knobs, faders, and buttons feel comfortable. Value: Considering all the features that the recorder includes, you get much more than what you pay for. Desirability: I was initially attracted to the retro studio look of this device; I was very happy to learn that the functionality of this recorder is just as good as its looks. Sound: Very clear and accurate reproduction (Compared to the Sony minidisc 4-track recroder that I used before). Ease of Use: It does take practice to get familiar with this recorder, but if you can get beyond the manual (which is not written as well as it could have been) the recording/editing/mixing process becomes efficient and speedy. Support: N/A Overall: With the amount of features and enormous memory, I plan to be using this device for a very long time. It has really provided me all that I need to create my smaller musical projects. Shipping Cost :$0 Listing Price :$299.99 Review this product |
