The MX200 has a user interface that is equally at ease in the studio or concert hall, with a unique VST software interface via USB connection to recording programs, offering high flexibility and the classic Lexicon sound.
Review :Feature:
External kick drum controller requires that 1 pad be dedicated to kick drum. I believe that the hi-hat controller requires 2 pads (one open, one closed) but am waiting for confirmation on this. This uses up 3 pads instead of 1, leaving only 5 for other sounds.
Quality:
Experienced consistent mistriggering of snare
Value:
It is $250 cheaper than the Roland
Desirability:
'tis a silly question
Sound:
No complaints about sound quality.
Ease of Use:
No complaints about user interface. Pads have a solid feel and good bounce.
Support:
Didn't get the answers I was hoping for, but they answered my emails within a couple of days, and I had no trouble getting through on the phone on one occasion.
Overall:
It is going back from whence it came. I guess I have to save up for a more expensive unit, such as the Roland.

Lexicon Mx200 Dual Reverb Effects Processor With Usb Multieffects Processors Lexicon Recording 1 32 Ease of Use: \ Overall: MAKE SURE you have a compatible DAW/ sequencer AND sound card before purchasing the MX200. Call me a novice, but based on what I had read under features & reviews, it looked like I would only need a USB cable to plug it in. Oh contraire... You need a USB cable, MULTIPLE (6+) analog inputs/outputs on your soundcard (or S/PDIF inputs/outputs), AND a sequencer/ program that will allow you to route to external hardware/ FX/ busses... My normal non-S/PDIF Audigy 2 sound card, and Cakewalk Home Studio, did not make the cut... so unfortunately I have to return this ton of bricks. Review this product |

Tc Electronic M350 Reverb And Effects Processor Multieffects Processors Tc Electronic Recording Review :Feature: With most amps that have a foot switch, you pay extra. This one comes included in the price. Quality: Behringer has always been on the top of my list. I've never been disappointed. They're right up there with Fender, Marshall and the others. Desirability: Acoustic amps are a lot different from other amps. And I noticed the difference right away. But I wouldn't hesitate to plug my electric guitar into this and wail away. Sound: For the money, you can't beat it. This is the 3rd Behringer amp I've owned and I must say...it's outstanding. The quality constructionv keeps the user in mind. My acoustic electric sounds great using this amp. Ease of Use: Simple and straight usage. No gimmicks. Just plug and play and set your sound variations. Zoom Rfx2200 24-bit Digital Multi Effects Multieffects Processors Zoom Recording Review :Feature: I really wish it had xlr outs w/ground lifts so it could truly be used as a direct box. But it has nice clean gain with mic AND instrument inputs. Quality: It's very well built. My only complaint in this area would be that the 1/4" jacks are board mounted only and not secured to the panel. This could become a problem after heavy use. Value: This product is worth what it usually goes for. Sound: It sounds fine for my application. I'm using it as a bass preamp before going into a rack compressor and then into my Alesis Sumo 300. This setup works great. Without it, the Sumo's impedance is too low and the amount of gain available would not be sufficient for a good signal. Ease of Use: It is very simple to use. Overall: I'll probably step up the M Audio DMP3 in a few months. Shipping Cost :$0 Listing Price :$349.99 Review this product |
