Not a bad speaker at all, but what it gains in the mids and tops, it just ever so slightly lacks that bottom punch of the Governor.
Sound:
Very much like the Governor, but lacks the punch and depth of the governor. Decent speaker but when compared side by side with the Governor, the Governor wins!

This is a fine way to drop your low e to d tuning in less than 5 secs. Which is perfect for any VH cover songs. It was designed with that in mind. Which would explain why it does not change the tuning of other strings. In the end the D tuna performs nicely and adds an easier way to achieve more sonic capabilties on your guitar.
