Quality: Built really tough. I love the shockmount. Compare it to theOctava shockmount...there's no comparison. Value: For what you get....it's not bad at all. It's not a neumann or abrauner of course, but they dont cost 70 bucks either. Desirability: Very nice appearance. The LED helped out in dark recording sessions.It helps keep the vocalist lined up to the mic. I have had no complaints about the led either.Nice color scheme to it. Sound: I was really impressed with the C01. Acoustic: warm and accurate.Voice: I did a mic shootout with a Rode NT1, an Octava large Diaphragm, and other mics twice it's price. We chose it overthe others.Electric: As long as the amp isnt screaming, it did fairly well.Snare: I loved the snare track, was really open and quiet.Overhead: One of my fav's for overhead.As you can see ive used it alot and really am impressed with it.For the price, you cant beat it.Also, I have alot of mics, it's not that it's the only mic I use,but it's the one of the mics I keep coming back to. Support: Never dealt with them before. Overall: I have several mics for different uses, but if i was to replace it,i would spend the extra bucks to get the samson C03.
