Radial Pro D2 Passive Stereo Direct Box General Direct Boxes Radial Live Sound/PA 0 1 Feature: It has all the standard features of a professional DI box. Quality: Built like a tank. Compared to my other studio direct boxes (Groove Tubes PDI) this one is three times as heavy/rugged and the components are top grade as it is less noisy and more transparent. Value: A bit overpriced in my opinion, considering that standard DI boxes cost about 50% less than this one, pricey but one has to pay for high quality I guess :) Desirability: I'll get this one again if it were stolen. Sound: Probably one of the cleanest and most balanced sounding DI boxes on the market times two! Ease of Use: Simply plug and play although compared to single mono DI box one has to be careful to plug the correct input and output. Support: Haven't had to deal with them and by the looks of the unit's sturdiness most likely never will. Overall: Price definitely affects quality in this case - for $125 you get two separate DIs bundled in one package. Great for sessions where you need to plug many performers as it reduces clutter. The transformers on this DI are definitely in a class of their own, nothing compares to them in this price range. Review this product |
