The SRX-07 Ultimate Keys Wave Expansion Board offers a massive collection of keyboard sounds and loops. This 64MB card contains all the waveforms from Roland's popular SR-JV80-04 "Vintage Synth," SR-JV80-08 "Keyboards of the 60's & 70's" and SR-JV80-10 "Bass & Drums," plus selected waves from SR-JV80-09 "Session" and SR-JV80-03 "Piano." With approximately 300 all-new Patches and 10 Rhythm Sets, the SRX-07 covers all the bases including some tasty loops.

Quality: Standard Roland build quality, Which is to say it's excellent Desirability: I bought it, I have it, I love it. Sound: Simply speaking, the "classic" sounds in this SRX card should have been included in the FantomX in the first place. They are GORGEOUS. I'm very picky about Wurlitzer EP sounds, for instance. The Wurlies in this card are both much better than those in the factory patch set, but also better than everything else I've heard. It blows away NI's "Elecktrik Piano", for instance. GREAT Mellotron sounds, GREAT String Machine sounds (it nails Omni2 and Solina, for instance) Good collection of classic synth patches as well. Captures a good sense of Moogs, Oberheims, Jupiters, etc. ... not perfect, but identifiable and useful. Support: Roland suppoert is always a mixed bag. Call early, and hope you get one of the "good guys". Overall: This will be a standard part of my setup for at least the next 10 years. Review this product |

Roland Srx05 Supreme Dance Expansion Board Keyboard Sound Expansion Cards Roland Keyboards and MIDI Review :Feature: Covers all the bases...has touch pads, faders, knobs, decent key action Quality: Faders have issues. If you move one fader to the side a bit, it cuts all the faders out. Very strange. You have to be gentle when fading, so live performance could be an issue if you get into your act much. Faders knobs are pretty loose and the thing is rather cheaply made (all plastic). Nice pitch and mod wheel though absolutely. Value: Good deal for the price-a little rough around the edges though. I would go for the 25 key option if I had the chance instead of the 49. Desirability: Was dying for it....now i want a novation remote. Ease of Use: Mildly confusing interface and fairly useless manual. As long as you use it for midi controlling and such and mapping keys yourself it is good. Documentation was not helpful in getting into advanced programming. Overall: decent value = performance ratio. Nice to have faders and knobs that work. Download the enigma software off m-audio's website. My axiom took a dump and I had to recalibrate it with the software. Now it is much more solid. It used to think all my knobs were one CC. I bought this amp and have had it for about 5 months now. I just read these reviews, and have to say some of these people are retarded. The one intitled "laughing" ... talk about one ignorent sob. My friend has a marshal 80w and this amp blows it out of the water without a doute. The sounds this thing can produce are endless. The volume is no issue. I have a set of drums as well and its no where neer drowning out the guitar even at half volume. Just wanted to inform anyone that is thinking about buying an amp that you WILL DEFFINITLY NOT be disapointed AT ALL. KEEP ON ROCKING.. and dont let these idiots make u think 'maybe this isent such a good idea'... it maybe a possablitly that they are actuly def?
