These high-resolution, active monitors provide XLR and 1/4 in. TRS balanced inputs, very neutral sound and an extremely flat frequency response (50Hz - 21kHz). They're loaded with 150W (lows) and 75W (highs) power amps, separately controlled limiters, long-throw 8-3/4 in. woofers for deep, tight bass, ferrofluid-cooled HF drivers, unique wave guides, and extremely low-distortion active crossover networks with 4th order Linkwitz-Riley filters.

Behringer B2031a Truth Active Monitors Active powered Studio Monitors Behringer Recording 1 188 Feature: What accessories do you need with powered monitors? Power cords and signal cables. These come with power cords but not signal cables because obviously one cord won't fit all users' needs. Quality: Incredible for the price is all I can say. Value: Value-wise these are actually a 20 but the scale only goes up to 10. Desirability: These monitors bear more than a coincidental similarity to Genelec 1031A's and are therefore quite sexy. Sound: These are the best monitors in their price class by far. You have to go above $1k per pair to get any better. The sound is smooth, accurate and detailed, although I did find that slight changes in placement made big differences in the accuracy. You'll have to fool with the positioning a bit but once you get it right you'll be amazed with the sound of these speakers. Ease of Use: Plug 'em in, turn 'em on and go. It doesn't get much easier. Support: Don't really know - haven't needed any support yet. I doubt if I will. Overall: I can only tell you that I bought these monitors before I actually heard them, although I heard just about everything else in the same price range and I was elated when I finally heard them. No problems here. Quality: Cheap build, but works for my purposes. I can see how people would have problems having it hold up in heavy-use situations. If you treat it well and dont drop it or anything, its a good speaker for the money. Value: Very good buy value wise. Its a cheap speaker, but can hold its own. Desirability: Looks good, serves its purpose. Sound: This speaker sounds pretty good when you have it eq'd right, but dosent put out a lot of sound unless you really push it. Ease of Use: Very straight forward, easy to use. It dosent put out a lot of sound unless you push it. Overall: The way I use it, this product will hold up for a long time. Krk Vxt8 Active Studio Monitor Active powered Studio Monitors Krk Recording Review :Feature: I hate multiple tone and volume controls. The simple format is a great feature. I don't like where the strap knob it - I will try to have it changed. The knobs are wood! Quality: The best 500 dollar guitar I've played. The frets are a little rough but the action is excellent with no buzz at all. Everything feels quite perfect. One of the knobs is a tiny bit crooked - no biggy. Desirability: If they made another color in the USA I would buy a second one. Sound: Very good, better than expected.
