AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix is a cooperative effort between Authentic Hendrix and IK Multimedia. Authentic Hendrix was founded in late 90s, by Al Hendrix and his daughter Janie to curate and promote Jimi¡¯s extensive recorded legacy. Jimi Hendrix was fundamental in the development of modern guitar amplification and guitar effects and marked the evolution of modern electric guitar sound. In only the 4 years between 1966, when he started his rehearsal sessions with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and 1970, when he died in London on September 18 at the age of 27, he contributed to change the way music was made and electric guitar was played, leaving a permanent mark on the generations of guitarists and musicians that followed. He is constantly named by guitar and music magazines as the #1 guitarist of all time.

The DSP mixer, can be better in configuration. Quality: Solid and well-build, you don't have to worry about a thing with this device. Value: Fair. The price is like the middle way, the most part of people can afford it. Desirability: Mmmmm, nice looking! Absolutely gorgeos. Great work from designers of Mackie. Sound: Great and clear sound. The 4 preamps can't be beaten for the price but specially for the quality of sound. Midi, works great as well. Support: The future will show, so far so good, not a problem. Overall: I think, I'm gonna replace it in about 6 months with RME 800 Firewire. It's not working as I thought with my PC (with MAC no problem) and I don't wanna spend time restarting again and again my computer and the aplications. You can add a rack on either side (straight or angled!), the monitor stand is great (more rackspace too), The thing is sturdy and easy to put together, I had absolutely no trouble assembling, I move the desk from time to time and it is still a rock. Value: Kinda pricey, but the desk is rock solid! If it was a little cheaper I'd buy the curved desk. Desirability: This desk is perfect for my studio. Period Sound: Well, sound isn't really an issue - it's a desk after all! Support: Desk was shipped without the rack rails. Called Middle Atlantic on a Thursday and had the hardware on Monday.
