The Tribute L2500 features 2 G&L Magnetic Field humbucking pickups and G&L Tri-Tone active/passive electronics. A 3-way mini-toggle pickup selector is provided to choose your pickup combination configuration along with a series/parallel mini-toggle and a preamp control mini-toggle for tons of variability. The hard rock maple neck combined with the swamp ash top and G&L Saddle Lock bridge provides tons of sustain and tonal color. Other features include custom G&L Ultra-Lite tuning keys and a padded gigbag is included to keep your baby safe and sound.

The electrical housing is very poor and you basically have to unplug everything in the house in order to keep from picking up electrical interference. I hooked it up to my stereo just to compare the sound with my Technics, and it doesn't hold up. The needle provided is of poor quality. Ease of Use: easy to use, unless you want good sound. Support: Nobody from Ion will get back to me about the distortion problem, and if you go to their forum (http://forums.ion-audio.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3), they will not respond to this particular problem, even though Ion members are visible elsewhere.
