Value: Great bang for the buck. Anything less than this is not really yet "Pro" Sound: These things have a great punchy feel in our Sanctuary that holds about 400. I think I would need more than these can do in a room much larger that this one though. They work great with any speakers but they really sound perfect with the eliminator 1 tops. Fender Pd150plus Passport Deluxe Portable Pa With Built-in Cd Player Pa Systems Fender Live Sound/PA Review :Feature: The "one knob" adjustment is great, but... The boom extension adjustment is terrible. The cheap plastic snaps very easily. Several of our bandsmen have accidentally over-tightened the boom in an attempt to keep even a light condenser from spinning around, and completely broken the plastic. Also, the plastic which makes the folding feet possible is prone to breakage with road use. Quality: Terrible quality. Great ideas. I called the company several times and talked to R&D, engineering and several other people about 1 month after purchasing 20 of these stands. 10 of them had broken with just light road use! Value: Cheaper up front, but you'll be buying them regularly to replace broken ones, so evens out in the ends. Desirability: Will never buy again until the cheap plastic is replaced with metal. Sound: N/A Ease of Use: It's a mic stand... If you can't figure out how to use it, music might not be your bag. Support: In their defense, they replaced every broken stand quickly. Overall: The idea is great, and the build of the "main knob" is also good, but they cheaped out on some of the other parts, and resulted in an unuseable stand after just a few months.
