I'll be honest with you if you want to start making beats and you don't have any experiance this is where want to go.I only had for 3 months but since then I done made and sold numerous beats, but if you get, the thing is you got to keep messing wit.And on the real it's probably the only software you can get under 100 with industry sounds.

Easy as hell all it is clicking and counting

I haven't but Kinetic is the prototypes prototypes of cakwalk,I'm plannig to get Project 5(kinetic part2) for the summer.and from there keep it movin
Overall:
If I didn't know about project 5 I'd probably stick with for a year or two, but it's like getting high.after while you gon get used to it and aint fun so from there you star experiment with other things
