This is a full-featured, rackmountable CD player with MP3 playback, programmable playback, unique playback capabilities, analog and digital outputs (coaxial) and a wide +/-12% pitch control. If you record CDs to cassette, you'll love Auto Edit. This function automatically divides the total recorded time on the disc in half and rearranges the tracks so that they fit neatly onto the A and B sides of an audiocassette.

As such it packs a lot of stuff into a little box. Quality: Seems a bit fragile but not too bad. Value: I bring it along to gigs, in a pinch I would be too embarassed to hook it up if my main rig failed. Desirability: I wanted something to jam on informally while couch potatoeing. It is the bomb for that. Sound: Presets are so-so but tweakable. I bought it to replace my ancient Rockman for headphone practice in front of the TV. The sound is not suitable for prime time (recording or live) but is fine for what I want. Support: Dunno... Overall: I own a GNX4 for effects and multiple amps for live sound. Maybe that would increase the "warmth" feature?? Quality: Although "warmth" feature is not as strong as I'd like it to be, this is unit does produce a very, very clean sound even at high volumes. Value: Worth trying is you are looking for a very clean sound. Although I like the unit, it should have been a bit cheaper. Desirability: Nice construction. Sound: An OK unit for a little gain with line in applications. The "warmth" feature is not as good as ART products, and is only noticeable at higher volumes. I have only used this with bass guitar enhancements and don't know how well it does with acoustic guitars and microphones. Support: N/A. I've never had to call for support. Overall: 8 out of 10.
