The Dean Soltero is a veritable tone machine with jaw-dropping good looks and features to take your breath away! The beautiful maple top on the mahogany body makes for killer tone and sustain, while the 24 3/4 inch scale maple neck with rosewood fingerboard (inlaid with hardtail/soltero inlays) allows for ultra-fast playing and incredible comfort. The hardware consists of Grover tuners, a tune-o-matic bridge both in chrome and Dean vintage style humbucker pickups giving the Soltero a sound that is as unique as its name.

Dean Soltero Standard Electric Guitar 6 string Electric Guitars Dean Guitars, Amps, and Effects Review :Feature: The sapele in the sides and back was a good choice for the guitar. It gives it a ringing high tone. Very nice. Quality: The make of the product seems fine. It is assembled in the Taylor factory in California, so it can be trusted. I wouldn't recommend the guitar for touring/traveling because of the delicacy of it. The body is not glossed at all, which makes it a bit more "dentable". Value: This guitar is comparable to some of the expensive 600 series Taylors. This is great, considering the guitar is only retailed at around $1000. Desirability: It feels great to use, and makes you want to play more and more. Sound: The guitar has a treble sound, and sounds nice on figerpicking and open chords. Support: The first thing Taylor does when you get the guitar is registers you for support in their factory. I have not yet had to deal with them becuase there has been no problems, but knowing I have the support is nice. Overall: The guitar is a MUST if you're buying a mid-priced guitar.
