I mean once you hear your tracks back you will swear you had a room full of the best tube amps all mic'd up in a room with great acoustics. Desirability: It's got a 60's retro look like an older piece of gear, which I prefer. Sound: This has a 12AX7 built in and it really makes the difference. The modeling is also spot on. This thing rocks. Ease of Use: The software creates a virtual studio with a menu of amps and mic'ing options and a cool selection of effects. Everything you need to record the best guitar tracks. It does everything but play your guitar for you. Support: This is my first Zoom product and I contacted their tech support once with a software install issue and they got right back to me with a solution. Quality: Build Quality comperable to the workhourse SM58. If it gets dirty just throw it in the wash, let air dry and you're good for the next gig - JK Road worthy Mic that can hold its own against all competitors. Value: Great Bang for the Buck. You could pay more...but you won't be buying a better Mic. Desirability: Great Black finish. Stands out from other mics. Slender design that is easy to hold. Has some heft to it. Feels expensive. Sound: Cleaner than a Beta 58 with the same smooth character of a Sennheiser 845 but with more output. Ease of Use: Pretty good right out of the box. Set the gain and you're good to go. Can be a little Bass Heavy with some voices. Hit the high pass and you're done. Support: Audix has one of the Best Customer Support departments in the business. These guys are Mic Nuts. If you have an idea to make the product better (don't hurt yourself trying) give them a call and don't be surprised if you see an upgrade. Try that with the other guys... Overall: I'll be using the OM3 for vocal and general purpose use for a loooong while. There is no such thing as the perfect mic or the "do it ALL" mic. Quality: As I said, these are the strings to which every other acoustic string is compared. They are high-quality. Value: Getting harder to find deals on them, but they are competitively priced. Desirability: ? Sound: Apparently the last reviewer had a bone to pick with the company, because many pros will tell you these are the industry standard strings. I've tried many so-called 'boutique' strings and these are the most consistent in terms of clarity, longevity, and sustain. Ease of Use: They sound good when you put them on, so they don't really require a break-in, but I prefer them after about an hour of playing time.
