The sound is great considering the size of the diaphragm, it responds like an SM58 for vocals but without the stand :) but an SM58 has a Diaphragm double the size(diameter)because of that you get much less feedback too when close to speakers and monitors, a real classic from shure. I've tried the wireless version too but this one is the most professional and flexible headset mic I ever seen. The Wireless is fine for Aerobics and Dance instructors, if you plan to go live, or record, get this one. Support: Never had to call them. Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Pro Timecode Vinyl Other Dj Accessories Native Instruments DJ Review :Quality: I've already used it a number of times, with Sony's Sonic Stage PC program, and it has worked quickly and flawlessley. Value: It's definitely worth the $300-$350 it's available for. I wouldn't pay the $400 some sites are asking, as it's readily available for $350. Desirability: I've seen, and have a, better looking Sony portable MD, but this one is no slouch. Sound: This unit is technically very good, and probably the absolutely best MD player/recorder still available. And unlike previous portable Hi-MDs, it support the original MD format/speed. And it is the only model I'm aware of that is MD-mode compatable with a PC/computer. Great product. Support: No problems, no contact with Sony. Overall: It's the latest, and the best, portable MD available. And perhaps the last of it's kind. I expect Sony to stop making MiniDisc players and recorders very soon. Hammond Xk Stand Organ Accessories Hammond Keyboards and MIDI Review :Feature: It offers 8 stereo channels with balance and individual controls for FX and output buses. As noted in another review, the 'mute' button on each channel is very useful. The headphone can be selected to monitor either the FX or main output. I almost didn't buy it because another review stated that the knobs are 'stepped'-- in reality, the knobs have only very subtle 'indentations' but can be set anywhere in between as well. Value: As with most of the Behringer product line, the 1602 offers very good value for a very reasonable price. Desirability: Very nice design and well thought-out implementation. Sound: I use the 1602 as a submixer for a couple of synths and modules in a home studio of sorts. It's the first mixer I've owned so I don't have much to compare by, but I've nothing to complain about regarding the sound. I can hear no added distortion or noise. Ease of Use: How complicated could a product like this be? I considered the Rolls RM203 but decided against it because of the really tiny knobs (and the fact that the labels on the face plate are all misprinted).
