AA Batteries last a long time, and rechargeables last quite long, too. Quality: Robust. Metal. Short, though antenna. Metal 1/8" plug with retaining screw ring to set guitar cord to transmitter pack (solid). Perfect record in live use from our last tour. Clear. Range. Long battery life. Kiss your 9 volt pile goodbye. Value: You get what you pay for. Not the least expensive, but (nearly) flawless in on stage use. See "pilot freq." notes below. My next wireless will be other units like this. Desirability: Very good ergonomics / use / size. The best wireless unit I've used. Sound: Clear, no drop outs. Good range. Support: On this unit, support not used, but on previous Senn unit the support was iffy on a tough technical issue - no one had an answer, no further help was offered. No complaints on the use of the unit - this is the third Senn unit used, all have been as advertised. Overall: ONE issue - the "pilot" frequency can fool itself and cancel if the reciever antennas are too close together in a rack. This pilot freq is the "auto hush" circuit that keeps an unused transmitter church quiet when the guitar is not transmitting. Watch your antenna placement (relative to each other), and all is well. It doesnt get any better than this. Quality: Even if it is a plastic case it seems pretty strong. Value: Its a bargain. Great product for a great price. Dont even hesitate, go a buy one. Desirability: I will be able to use this with just a power amp and speakers. No need for a preamp as you can dial up a great sound. Sound: I tried out the zoom B1 after being disappointed with some Korg machines that were noisey as hell. They were full of digital hashy fuzz. The B1 is Quiet, no digital fuzz and no background noise. Brilliant. The effects are excellent but overall I select either the Fender Bassman or the Tube Preamp sound. The drum sounds are great. Ease of Use: Read the manual and away you go. It only took me an hour or two to get familiar with the unit. It makes sense and I like the simplisity. Support: Its only new so I have had to use the warranty Overall: I dont want lots of features and controls to confuse me. I just want a great sound without to much trouble. With the B1 just dial it in. I looked at the B2 but it had the same sounds with more parameter control. This is not necessary as the B1 provides plenty of variation if you want it. It is also available in many colors or with chrome or gold covers. Mine is Black. Quality: I can not detect any flaws. Value: A little higher priced than some of their other pickups. I guess Billy Gibbons has to get his share. But then again there is only vauge referances to him and his guitar a.k.a. Pearly Gates in the promo. so maybe not. Desirability: Great sound in a Paul very versital good for many styles. Great all round pickup! Sound: I have had this pickup in a Fender Lonestar Strat and now in my Gibson Les Paul. I replaced it in the Strat with a Tone Zone because I wanted a litlle more bottom end. But I really like it in the bridge postion of my Paul. Ease of Use: It's a pickup! Support: Never had to deal with them but have not heard anything negitive either. I believe S.D. to be a good company.
