Martin M130 Silk and Steel Folk Acoustic Guitar Strings (11-47) Acoustic Guitar Strings 6 Strings Martin Guitars, Amps, and Effects Review :Feature: Features are nice, I mostly use Clean 1, Crunch 1, and Drive, they each are very good. Effects are nice, and once you learn how to control them you get some great stuff out of this amp. Gain also works like a bass knob. The wattage selector is nice for sure, lets you take any hiss out by lowering the wattage if you're playing really quiet. It does really well with pedals too. I use delay, verbzilla, and grey DOD 250 (belive it or not). Even though the amp has delay and reverb you can not alway use them together. The DOD makes some really rockin tones with the Da5. It blows me away actually. Quality: Seams very nice. Get the diamond cloth front if you can, it looks the sharpest. Value: It is worth its price. Desirability: Silly question. Sound: It has some very nice sounds in it. It is a bedroom amp, so you're not going to jam with friends, but it's great for in the room. I am really impressed with the sounds I can dial out of this little baby, from clean to some great rocking sounds. It took me awhile to get there, the amp has a little bit of a learning curve, but a very enjoyable amp to practice with. Ease of Use: It took me several months to get really good at using all of it's features. Support: Don't know. Overall: 9, for a bedroom amp that is. Quality: It's a regular Boss pedal and I have had good experience with them. I think if you were to smash it into a wall or the ground a few times a knob would probably break off. But I am guessing that people don't do that on purpose.... Value: you said in short, so yes. Desirability: I don't have that much money at this point in time and this is cheaper than the other loopers out there. But the look of it doesn't make you want to steal it. Sound: it does not change the sound of the iinput. Ease of Use: You should definitely read the instruction manual on this one. once you read a little bit of the manual you are good to go. Support: Before it came out, I emailed Boss to ask them on what date it would come out, and they still haven't emailed me back. Overall: I will be satisfied until it breaks.
