Just like all the other QSC products I've ever had. Rugged, looks good in the rack, nice blue light...
Value:
900 watts a side at 4ohms for seven bills? Any questions?
Desirability:
The "sex appeal" of this thing (and other QSC stuff) is really the low current draw - I can run this amp, my four QSC HPR boxes, drum monitor amp AND my Marshall off ONE 20 amp AC line - and crank it!! In small pubs, etc, sometimes that's all you get to work with and that is very important to me. It doesn't hurt your back to lift 'em either!!
Sound:
Nice, smooth clean tone thoughout the power band. Quite nice.
Ease of Use:
Plug-in, turn on, turn up, it works.
Support:
I've dealt with them on other amps I've had over the years and never a problem.
Overall:
I own or have owned all of the other brands of power amp or powered cabs. I have over 30 years experience with professional live sound and the new QSC gear is about the best I've used for live work. Great sound, light weight and low current draw combine to make a great product. No, I am NOT affiliated with QSC in any way.

Qsc Plx1804 Lightweight Power Amplifier Power Amps Qsc Live Sound/PA Review :Feature: It might occassionally be nice to have standard unbalanced inputs like RCA or TS. Otherwise its got all the features I can imagine needing. Quality: Although I have heard others claim that Behringer's products are not reliable in their first release, I have never had anything go wrong with this or the other Behringer product that I own. Value: This is a good value. The clean sound and the extensive features are pretty impressive given the price tag. Desirability: This is a practical unit that solves problems with different sampling rates, and converts to and from digital. It's not the kind of thing that has sex appeal. You buy it for its features. Sound: The ADC section is quite clean and flat sounding, with a low noise floor. Support: Don't know how their support is because I never needed it. Overall: For a lot more money you can probably get a slight increase in dynamic range, a tiny bit less jitter, etc. But for anything less than a perfectionist, this is a great product at a great price, and I've been happily using it to make recordings. Samson S120a Power Amplifier (120 Watts) Power Amps Samson Live Sound/PA Review :Feature: Nice features. One problem is the connecting shaft; it tends to come off over time no matter how tight I make it screw. Quality: Very good quality. Solid. Value: Price too high. Desirability: Looks like a sweet pedal. Sound: Main pedal is nice, but the left pedal drags a lot making an un-even sound. It's almost as if some of the work my left foot is doing is lost. Not fond of that. A left pedal should feel like the right pedal, and it doesn't on this DW set. Ease of Use: Nice, easy to clamp and adjust. Overall: As I said before, the right pedal is nice.
