No problems yet! Just bought it September 12, 2007. Played two weekend gigs and the rest of the band went nuts!
Overall:
All my other amps and cabinets are ampeg. I paired the SWR 400 with one of my ampeg 410 400 watt 4 ohm cabinets and the sound was great. I actually had more definition on my sound from this head. My ampeg heads are very warm sounding but don't have the definition of the SWR in my opinion.

Quality: This thing can take a beating. It's all metal, and the construction is super solid. Value: I don't think you can find a better distortion pedal...and even if you could you would still want this on your pedalboard. Desirability: Once you play on it you realize that this is the pedal you want. No questions, and its orange...i love orange. Sound: The thing can produce some sweet tones...basicly everything you need to play rock music. Hardcore? This can handle it if you turn the mid down on your amp...Punk? Oh yeah.....This thing can crank it out and is more versital tone wise than the Boss DS-1.
