The Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive is an overdrive pedal featuring a unique 'clean' control. It's overdrive circuit provides the same tone as a vintage '808. Then the clean control blends back in a boosted direct signal. This restores the attack and feel which is lost in a highly compressed overdrive circuit.

Feature:
Very easy to use. It's very easy to fine tune the sound to the venue I'm doing or the different styles I may be doing that night. I love being able to mix the drive with a clean, (awesome feature) I also love the fact that it's a TRUE bypass. Very, very important to me!
Quality:
So far so good......Solid.
Value:
Worth every penny.
Sound:
It does what I want it to do.....OVERDRIVE not overgain. Has great tone, especially hooked up with a compressor. I can get a nice saturated tube sound or a growling overdrive.

I think that what you hear on their soundbites is what you get. Haven't had to deal with them directly.
Overall:
If your looking for a great drive, this is it. In my opinion worth a lot more than a lot of other pedals I've tried including the Ibanez, Radial and the other "boutique" pedals.

On the other hand, this card brings no interface-configuration software (all goes hardware), apart from a mini-little ASIO/MIDI config window, nothing else!! Quality: Here come the bad news: working exclusively with this card (mother board sound off), my old PC (pentium IV 3,2ghz; 1GB ram) can't play mp3 (on winamp) with no clics or random stops. Even worse: the cpu load on Ableton Live, or on the included Cakewalk Sonar LE, goes crashing just with 4 vstis loaded!!!. And all these with the UA25EX audio driver buffer at max level... This issue is the key, and, sorry Edirol, but any other thing doesn't matter when this fails. Value: If it worked fine, would be good value. For me: crap. Desirability: I wanted it... Sound: Very good sound. Ease of Use: Can't deny it's easy to use. Good on this issue. Clear manual, but very short. Support: I'm still waiting an answer from Roland/Edirol Spain...
