Mutec Ya3 10vdc Power Supply For Yamaha Psr Series Keyboard Power Supplies And Adapters Mutec Keyboards and MIDI Review :Feature: You will not believe how awkward to play this thing is. I bought to travel with and found the only position in which it is even remotely comfortable is if I play it laying down and its wedged between an elbow and my chest. There is no natural position for a guitar shaped like this. Also, it sounds like crap. I ended up buying a cheap Yamaha to take on the road and it sounds better anyway. Quality: Martin really should have put the "Sigma" stamp on this one. (Sigma is their "down market" brand name.) Sound: Imagine a hollow bat with strings on it. That's what it sounds like and that's about how comfortable it is to play. This guitar does a disservice to Martin (I'm a proud Martin guitar owner but this, this is a worthless POS). Akai Mp9 9vdc Power Supply For Mpd16 Keyboard Power Supplies And Adapters Akai Keyboards and MIDI Review :Feature: Simple, no frills. Just set it on the shockmount and get to rockin'. Quality: It's a solid build, the only problem I've had with mine is the screen came loose, then eventually came off and I have to sort of MacGuyver on it there since I don't know how to go about fixing it. But otherwise it's pretty much bullet proof Value: Definitely worth the price and then some. It was the first condenser I've bought and it's worked wonders for vocals and acoustic guitar. I've also used it as a room/ambiance mic and it's worked well for that too. Desirability: Aesthetically speaking, it's average. It's not ugly, but it's not the most beautiful piece of equipment ever created. But its simplicity and no-frills approach is what gives it its charm Sound: Smooth, picks up low end nicely. Paired with a decent pre, it's a knock-out for the price. I've used it for vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and as a room mic and it's done well on all accounts Ease of Use: Just plug it in and go. Support: N/A: I haven't needed any yet Overall: Awesome mic for the price. I highly recommend this as a condenser to start yourself off with. I had never heard of ADK until they were recommended to me by a guy at my local music store; the company is located about 15 miles from where I live. It was worth every penny.
