Behringer S1220 Eurolive Pa Speaker (280 Watts 1x12 In.) 12 inch Main Pa Speakers Behringer Live Sound/PA Review :Feature: Has the most channel inputs of any system of this type. Quality: I have never had a bad Yamaha electronics product. Value: Speaker mounts are extra, as are speaker stands. Desirability: The systems that fold all into one unit, seem a little sexier to me. This is basically two separate speakers, with built in carry handles. The amp mounts into the back of one of the speakers, and the other speaker has storage space for cables. It is compact, but you still need stands and pole mounts. Sound: The sound is best in its price range. I like the sound of the $2300 Bose system a little better, but for $600 this is hard to beat. Support: i have not had to deal with Yamaha on this item, but in the past when I have called Yamaha looking for manuals on discontinued items, I received quick and courteous responses. Overall: Well, I saw the Bose system and though it was exceedingly cool, and I mught check it out. The price scares me. I'll probably stick with the Yamaha, unless the band starts making serious $$$. The number of channels is just adequate for what we have at present. Any expansion would require the use of an external mixer. Peavey Pr12n Loudspeaker (1x12 In.) 12 inch Main Pa Speakers Peavey Live Sound/PA Review :Feature: Instant drop tuning, instant guitar model selection with toggle switch for five most-used. Quality: Pretty good, with the exception of the neck. Sound: Does a great job of matching guitar sounds. The banjo-type sounds are a little clunky. Ease of Use: Have had trouble with saving to the toggle. But other than that, it's fine. Would be great if I replace the neck with a Strat neck, and replace the tuning keys with locking types. Support: Dealth with American Musical - who instantly replaced the first V600 I ordered, which had a bad pickup on one string. So don't buy direct. Overall: I suspect Line 6 will improve the Variax. Peavey Pr12n Neo Loudspeaker (1x12 In.) 12 inch Main Pa Speakers Peavey Live Sound/PA 1 34 Feature: It is simple to use, lightweight and has common 1/4" connections. Quality: No problems so far. All my Peavey stuff has held up very well throughout years of steady use. Value: Given the consistent quality, durability and ease of use, $170 is fair for this product. Desirability: This is a utilitarian speaker cab. It does it's job without hype or marketing BS. It may not be the sexiest speaker in the world, but paying too much for advertising hype is just stupid, and stupid is not sexy. Sound: With a good amp, it sounds just about as good as anything out there. Ease of Use: As straightforward as it gets... Support: I have only had to call Peavey once in thirty years of using their stuff. It took a little longer than I though necessary to get the right person on the phone. After that, we got a small issue resolved quickly. (I just wanted to buy a replacement speaker for a ten year-old used amp) Overall: I still have a thirteen year old Peavey amp that works perfectly. Sure... your recordings will sound great in the studio but the real test lies in how good the mix sounds when played on other systems outside the studio! Good mids and nice high end but the lower frequencies are not at all accurate. What you end up with is a great sounding cd on the system it was recorded on but real BOOMY mixes elsewhere! Sound: Very impressive and detailed sound. As a peformer myself (classical piano and keyboard, DJ) I was very particular about what sapeakers I should use and after alot of research, the best sound quality I achieved was definately with the S112V. Personally I think that to acheive the highest quality sound (if you're a band etc), hook this speaker up with the any of the Yamaha EMX Powered mixers as it has been matched specifically with the speaker. (I use the EMX88S) Overall, very flexible and strong in adjusting well to various equaliser settings you might wish to use. Powerfull sound. Covers a large area with crystal clear sound both for voice and all music. Note. can sometimes have the tendancy to sound slighty too sharp with regards to the tweeter, however you must remember that this has a titanium tweeter, and not a soft dome like smaller spaekers. (just a small thing I noticed) but don't be put off! this is the smoothest sound I have heard after listening to many different speakers. Enjoy! All the best! Review this product |

Quality: Great quality through and through. Value: Mine is a lefty. They charge more for lefties so the overall value isn't that great. I find it somewhat discriminating. Desirability: Great looking guitar! Sound: For what is classified as a "student" guitar the sound is beautifully rich and the tone is fantastic. Ease of Use: Playing from the nut to the 10th fret is the easiest. Once you get any higher up the neck it becomes more difficult to play and doesn't sound as good as it should. The action and intonation were all done by a professional. Support: Haven't needed any. Overall: Many years to come. I shop for things very thoroughly so I don't have to buy again. Desirability: It truly rocks.... Sound: Great smmoth sound for any venue... Peavey Impulse 1012 2-way Molded Pa Enclosure 12 inch Main Pa Speakers Peavey Live Sound/PA 1 27 Feature: Solid and RATTLE FREE construction! Injection molded is the way to go. I dropped one of 'em from 7 feet (don't ask), and it just bounced happily along the concrete. Plugged it in, and it worked fine! Love the weather resistent woofer construction too (I live in hot, HUMID Florida). Quality: See "Features." Value: It's a good product. Would like to see a little lower price point, but they're rugged, good sounding and take a pounding, and that equals good value, IMO. Sound: These cabs have a pretty good overall "throaty" sound. I only wish they had a big more in the lower range, but they sound good, and they're tough as nails. Support: They're pretty good about getting back to you, if you have a problem.
