Sound: I have a 70`s model block inlays,man you can play any sound anyone you like, led zep. blk sabht,beatles everytime I play outside allways get photoed and most of the time asked if I want to sell it,no way I tell them. I olso have a 70`s fender strat but only just to say I have one,for the gibson is tops champ hands down. Support: yes about 2 years ago I asked Gibson to give me the exact year it came out I gave them serial number and describtion of body and fretboard but I was not given the exact year, they where not sure what year it was. Overall: I wanted a les paul deluxe and I gave the money to a friend going to uk(england)to get me one from there and he came with the SG he said if you don`t like it I take it back next month and change it .I tried it I kept it no regrets when I plugged it in my LANEY 100watts KLIPP,lets rock. Quality: SD card slot cover could easy break. Value: cost should be $100 less. Sound: Good Sound, no distortion at hig volumes Ease of Use: easy to use... Support: The Marantz PMD620 has a problem with the firmware update. Certain types of SD memory it simply does not like, these including Transcend and Kingston. (Problem did not seem to exist with the original firmware) Any file over several minutes in length (aren't they all) will not play on your PC until you go back and try to play the file on the recorder itself first. When you do this, a small window comes saying 'restore' only then the file will play (Most of the time). Tech support was of no help. Only recommended we don't use these brands. They also say they have not heard of the problem before. However, if the problem is not known, then how does the recorder know to 'restore' the file when you try to play it? This 'restore' function MUST be written into the latest firmware update to happen. Naughty, naughty, being deceptive to the customer... I am not discouraging anyone from getting this, it's just that if a problem exists, (and it's known by the manufacturer) they have to correct it, or advise to not purchase some types of memory. The little bag was so small almost impossible to fit the product in. Quality: It seems very well built and sturdy. Value: For just $50.00 more you could buy the first POD 2.0 and have a much greater and usful product. Desirability: The ads sure drew my attention and it was a great looking product. The concept was a very good idea but did not live up to it's billing. Sound: All sounds were metalic to me, hardly any warmth. Tried it direct and through a tube amp not very happy either way. I did not think this pedal would do it all but I did expect more for the price. Support: Never have dealt with them. Enough room for a tuner and capo and a few other items. Other than that, I rate it a 10 Quality: Solid and well built. 5-ply w/arch top will protect my guitar very well. Value: Other than the lack of storage area, a completly satisfactory case. Desirability: A very nice case with super inside lining. A very good "arch" to the top and the hinges are completly aligned with the latches. My Martin case was just the opposite, for what it's worth. And the Gator costs $80.00 less! Ease of Use: Hinges are alighned perfectly. Fits my Martin DX1 to a Tee. Support: Never had a reason to try, and this is my third Gator case. Overall: I'll keep this case, period. Good protction inside and out and after all, it's a Gator! Much better (other than storage) than the Martin that came with it. Review this product |

Skb 8 Economy Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Case Acoustic Guitar Cases Skb Guitars, Amps, and Effects Review :Feature: The handles are awkwardly placed, making this big bulky thing hard to maneuver. It would be much better if the handles were on alternate sides like the gator cases so it could be easily carried sideways to get up stairs. Big as it is, there is only one skinny handle in the middle. Quality: this case is CHEAP. It looks indestructible but the lid never aligns correctly requiring me to take time to "fix" the lid over the case. I just bought this case in May (4mths ago). There were 4 latches and now there are only 2. The other 2 broke off. for $400-$500 dollars, this case is as delicate as toilet paper. It would have been cheaper to have a case custom made for my 88key es90. I only bought this case because gator did not make one quite long enough for my keyboard to fit. Value: ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Desirability: It's not appealing at all. It's not sleek, it's utilitarian, bulky, and there was no thought in the design. I am trying to get gator to make me a custom case. Ease of Use: The case is hard to close. I had a gator case for my 88 keyboard and although the fit was snug, it easily closed and latched. This skb junk requires me to constantly adjust the lid by opening and closing and trying to align the grooves together. Takes too much time when tryning to leave the stage.
