This case WILL, Snugly, fit the Rogue violin bass (which I think is a rebranded Epihone 2nd). Quality: I understand this is actually the BEST violin bass case made, period...better than Hofner's own vintage case for their high-end pieces. Value: This is cheaper than the big rectangular epiphone case, which would be the alternative. I have to think this is more secure than that case, even if there isn't room for sheet music. There is room for straps and maybe strings. Desirability: I would have sent it back if I didn't want it. Sound: Doesn't rattle Review this product |

Esp B-style Hardshell Form-fit Bass Case Bass Guitar Cases Esp Bass Guitars, Amps, and Effects 0 4 Overall: External covering material is "just OK" -- standard guitar case stuff glued/stapled on. Inside is quite plush and soft -- nicer than my first apartment, but smells funnier, too. It smells kind of like a mobile home, and I've noticed it's making my bass smell that way, too. I'm going to have to get some of that "case freshener" I saw online that I thought was funny. I ain't laughing now. Anyway, the key point is that this case truly is a custom fit for the B-series bass. Unlike the GC-40 that I bought for my Washburn, which looks like it was designed for a Dime guitar, this case fits my bass so snugly that it's actually difficult getting it in and out, I have to take the strap off. Value: Good value Desirability: I got it because of cost, but will go back Shure M44-7. Sound: The sound quality is comprable to the M44-7 Ease of Use: If you buy the 505V3 H it comes pre-mounted on a stanton head shell....very easy Support: Didn't have to contact them Overall: The proper tracking force is very difficult to find with it being between 2.0 and 5.0. I have tried all of em and can't keep this thing from skipping. For regular palyback this is pretty good, but if you are turntablist I would suggest you go with the best needle for that application, which is the Shure M44-7. I just bought those after 2 horrific weeks using the stanton's and without breaking in the 44-7's I was able to scratch and beat juggle right off the top, just imagine the fun I'll have after proper break in on the shure's.
