For an amp this size it offers the usual headphone outputs as well as tape input and outputs (Rca jacks). Quality: Very good quality. Value: The best quality amp at this price. Unbeatable unless you by used from a blindman who doesn't know what he has. Desirability: Very good-looking amp. The best-looking practice amp out there. Sound: This amp sounds wonderful for its size. There is a nice deep, rich tone and a good deal of variation available just messing with your bass controls and the three tone knobs on the amp. For practicing or rehersals without drums, it would perform well. I am using a Jack Casady Signature Bass and it sounds just great. Very little to no buzzing or hiss at all. Ease of Use: Easy. Phantom power switch. I love the mix tweak, you can get the punch as well as a bit of the clean tone. Quality: HEAVY Duty. Totally Stompable! Value: The only problem I had (and I say HAD) was that is was very expensive, but in the end its very well worth it. I don't play anywhere without it! I even use it to DI my acoustic/electric guitar. Desirability: umm what.. SEX appeal? i'm not into toys! Behringer Bxl450 Ultrabass Bass Combo Amplifier (45 Watts 1x10 In.) Bass Guitar Combo Amps Behringer Bass Guitars, Amps, and Effects 1 10 Feature: It's a bass amp, how many features do you need? The EQ feature works well and lets you shape the sound over a wide range, but the slide pots were crackly out of the box. They got better with use. Quality: Overall quality is good, except for the dirty slide pots. It's reasonably well built, but it's a living room amp, not a road amp. Value: Excellent value in this price range. Desirability: It's not terribly sexy, but its value makes it appealing. Sound: The sound on the clean channel is smooth, tight and punchy. It loses the fundamental frequency and "doubles" below about 80 Hz, but you have to expect that with a low-power 10 inch. The distortion channel sounds gross to me - I would never use it, but that's just me. The amp is clean and has no hum, hiss or grounding problems. Ease of Use: Easy enough. The controls on the distortion channel are a little odd, but I don't use them anyway. Support: Can't rate - don't know. Overall: It suits my purposes fine. I like its sound and size. Behringer dominates the bass combo market in this price range for a good reason. If it went away I'd replace it with another one or maybe one a little bigger for a fuller bottom end. I have only had it for a month in home stidio use. Value: A lot of good effects in a small package make this a good value for me. Desirability: The best feature is that the unit can be kept at a height that is comfortable to use since it does not require bending over to change settings on the floor as is necessary in most effect modules. It can still use pedals for effects by plugging them into the unit. If you buy this you need to have the ac adaptor since battery life is pretty low, especially if the backlight is used. Sound: The various effects may not be quite as good as larger and more expensive models, but all that I need is there. Ease of Use: Relatively easy to learn. Support: No contact with Korg has been necessary Overall: I beleive the use of technology in bringing the size of this unit down so much that it can be carried in you pocket is amazing. I use it in my studio, but it also allows me to play anywhere with earphones. The drum machine function has plenty of programs to enable practice with a wide range of beats by drum and bass.
